For the eighth consecutive year, in the spring 2013, the Kelly A. Bourbon Memorial Scholarship
Fundraiser will commemorate the mentoring and community service of its namesake, our
beloved family member and friend, Kelly.
While it has been almost eight years since a rare brain cancer took her at just the age of 40,
Kelly’s work and spirit endure in an annual bequest of the scholarship awarded in her
name. With it, a Noble High School graduate pursuing a post secondary education wins not only
the dividend of hard work rewarded, but also a share of trust in the community which nurtured
Kelly, and to which she wished to give back so much.
Please join us for the annual Kelly A. Bourbon Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser. As last year,
instead of celebrating with a gala affair we will celebrate (Kelly Night 2013) by seeking your
support through a donation to sustain the Kelly A. Bourbon Memorial Scholarship Fund.
We see the role of the Scholarship as becoming even more important in the years to come as
students are increasingly strained to fund their education, often leaving school with crushing
debt. We feel Scholarships such as Kelly’s can help lighten this burden for students and open
more doors for their future.

We will ask for all donations for this years fundraiser to be sent by
March 31, 2013 so as we can allocate resources for this years recipient.
Most importantly, we will continue to strive to achieve our goal of leveling the playing field of life
through educational opportunities. Please join us in our quest. As allies in this enterprise, we
can make a substantial difference in the lives of many young people.
